I like life and want to enjoy every moment of it, so I don't often complain. When I do I try to do it with as much humour as possible. Once I sent an e-mail to the council that read: "HELP! Can't fight my way out! Stuck in the overgrown brambles on the footpath between Morrisons and the Community Centre. Please send someone to cut me free." They cut the hedges along the footpath the next day!
I don't enjoy conflict but I'm no push-over either. There are times when you need to fight and humour just won't do the job. Hopefully, it has all been worth it and we can have a weekend without any more tears.
